Realeyes is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join the Computer Vision team. This team works on cutting edge machine learning problems that are at the core of our business. The engineers within the teamwork with large amounts of video, image and biometric data to continually enhance and innovate the core technology stack. We are looking to hire a motivated, best-in-class Senior Python Engineer to create and maintain our systems and tools to optimize and improve Realeyes capabilities in computer vision.

Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, detail orientated, possesses strong written and verbal skills, and has significant experience supporting large scale, enterprise class products and tooling. The desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential. They will shape the architecture and development of cloud-native applications and tools that are used by our researchers and products as part a diverse, cross-functional team.


  • Experience with Pandas, Numpy and Matplotlib
  • Excellent knowledge of Python and SQL
  • Basic working knowledge of AWS (S3, CDN, Lambdas, IAM, EC2)
  • Experience with Git(hub)
  • Be familiar with Scrum development methodologies
  • Feel comfortable using the following concepts: software architecture, Clean Code, REST-Api, CI/CD, Unit Testing
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Be able to defend your architecture and make decisions
  • The ability to coach juniors

If you also have these, even better:

  • Have experience with Tensorflow & Keras
  • Knowledge of scikit-learn / scipy / nltk
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform / Azure, Terraform
  • Familiarity with Docker, ffmpeg
  • Feel comfortable using the following concepts: NoSQL, Big Data / Distributed Computing, Datalakes, Image/Video processing
  • Be familiar with Scrum Master development methodologies
  • Proven work experience as a Lead Engineer
