The purpose of the Finance Assistant role is to support the Financial Controller and CFO in the day-to-day running of the Finance department. The position will offer considerable opportunity for the right person to gain invaluable experience within a rapidly developing company.
Responsibilities
- Client billing – liaising with our sales teams across US, UK, France, confirming invoicing details and signed contracts are in place
- Debtor/creditor management – managing this process across the group, ensuring clients are paying us on time and we’re paying suppliers on time
- Coding of Purchase invoices, including creating new Nominal Codes
- Bank reconciliations – reconciling bank accounts across the group, ensuring receipts and invoices are uploaded into Xero
- Employee expense review and reimbursement
- Assisting with cash-flow forecasting
- Ad-hoc reporting
- Assisting with month-end duties, supporting the Financial Controller in closing the books each month

You're a perfect match if you have:
- Experience of Xero
- Very high attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Min. 1-3 years of experience working for a multinational, multi-currency organization
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of accounting principles, accruals, prepayments
